I grew up in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region and have always had an affinity for languages. Initially, I completed a degree in Journalism at the Auckland University of Technology and worked as a freelance content writer, covering an array of topics including culture, lifestyle and travel. A short stint as a volunteer translator and a long-term stay in France led me to pursue a Master in Editorial, Economic and Technical Translation at ESIT/Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris. As a translator, I have had the opportunity to work across various domains such as legal, humanitarian and medical translation.
