Thalita Alves

I grew up in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region and have always been fascinated by languages and the written word. Initially, I completed a degree in Journalism at the Auckland University of Technology and went on to work as a freelance writer, covering an array of topics including culture, lifestyle and travel. A short stint as a volunteer translator and a long-term stay in France led me to pursue a Master in Editorial, Economic and Technical Translation at ESIT/Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris. As a translator, I have had the opportunity to tap into various domains such as legal, humanitarian and medical translation.
