General Terms of Service
These are General Terms of Service applicable to Clients working with the Language Services Provider.
Documents to be translated, edited or proofread
The Client must provide the all the necessary documents for the completion of the services requested. Without access to these documents, the Language Services Provider will not be under any obligation to adhere to the price quotes and delivery times previously established, and may modify these conditions at any given time.
Privacy and confidentiality
All documents shared with the Language Services Provided will be used exclusively for the purposes of delivering the translation, writing or editing services requested by the Client. All information will be handled in strict confidentiality and will not be shared with any third parties, except as required by law.

Completed projects will be kept on file for a maximum of 6 months in case the Client needs any additional copies; these may also be deleted immediately upon completion, should the Client request it. Any other information provided by the Client will be deleted upon delivery of the requested services.
Delivery
Expected time frames for will vary according to the size and complexity of the project. All turnaround times will be communicated on delivery of the price quote.

Urgent requests may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, subject to the Language Service Provider's availability, and will incur an additional fee.

Should the Client request any additional work or modifications, the Language Services Provider has the right to adjust the delivery times and fees to reflect these changes.

In the event that, owing to unforeseen circumstances, the Language Services Provider is unable to meet the delivery times previously established, the Client will be notified immediately and new arrangements will be made. The Client will be refunded if these circumstances lead to the Language Services Provider not being able to complete the work.
For completed translations, documents will be emailed to the Client in digital format with the required certification seals. Hardcopies of certified translations can be delivered to clients for a fee; an estimate of the postage costs will be provided and will need to be reimbursed in full.
Pricing and payment
Unless otherwise agreed, all pricing is in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

For most projects, payment is to be made in full upfront. For some larger projects a 50% deposit may be required before commencing, with remainder to be payable upon delivery.

The following payment methods are accepted:

Credit or debit card, through the Stripe secure payment platform;
